Umm.. The Grinch who Stole Christmas?! Don't forget that one! We unwrap a new Christmas book every night during December. That means we clean out the library at the end of November. :-) Jan Brett's the Wild Christmas Reindeer is one of my other favorites (we love most of the ones you listed here-- we're excited to try the others!) I bet your Nephew would like "Merry Christmas BIg Hungry Bear." Especially if he likes one of our all time favorite books "The Little Mouse, the Red Ripe Strawberry, and the Big Hungry Bear." Annika says her favorite is the Snowmen at Christmas, and Madeline's Christmas. There you go! Merry Christmas!
"the Father Christmas Letters" by J.R.R. Tolkien. It's the collection of letters written by J.R.R. Tolkien to his children from the time his oldest was just a few years old. It is the replies to the letters they wrote to Father Christmas. It includes illustrations, stories from the Polar Bear (who was always trying to help Santa, but always bungled things) explanations of how the bad black goblins were trying to steal the presents, etc. It also shows the envelopes and stamps he would create. It's amazing and one of my favorite Christmas books.
I cried reading Mr. Willoby's Christmas tree the other night. It is the BEST book.
Great book suggestions...love, love, love that both you and Molly love Mr. Willowby....Grandma Kathy would be so thrilled to know that her little kids read it to their little kids and they will read it to their little kids. One to add to the list is 'Paddy's Christmas', hard to find but worth the effort.
